  • New Line of Frequency Synthesizers (Insight FS) from 36 to 1250 GHz

    Insight Product Company

In the millimeter wave range, each synthesizer covers a full waveguide band (Q, U, V, E, W, F, D, G, Y, J). Insight FS provides several options for frequency and amplitude modulation (analog FM/AM modulation, frequency manipulation, pulses modulation).  Insight FS are compact in size and controlled by IEEE, analog input, or manually.

  • Broadband Detectors

    Pacific Millimeter Products

These waveguide bandwidth detectors use silicon beam lead diodes on a planar stripline circuit to obtain an extremely rugged and compact device. Most millimeter wave broadband detectors have very poor VSWR due to the difficulty in obtaining a good wideband impedance match to the diode. To overcome this problem, these detectors utilize two diodes and an internal matched termination and 3 dB hybrid as shown below. This circuit allows a VSWR of 2.0 or better over a full waveguide bandwidth for most of these detectors. Detectors for waveguides WR-8 and smaller use a single zero bias GaAs diode. The high sensitivity zero bias GaAs diodes can also be special ordered for use at lower frequencies when highest sensitivity is required.

  • 60 GHz WR-15 Waveguide Tx Module

    PEM010 - Pasternack Enterprises, Inc.

The PEM010 is a highly integrated millimeter wave transmitter that covers the 60 GHz global unlicensed spectrum allocations packaged in a standard waveguide module. Transmitter architecture is a double conversion, sliding IF with wide bandwidth capability through the up-conversion chain from baseband to carrier. The I/Q interface accepts analog baseband signals which provides for flexibility in design and applications. The baseband input optionally supports FSK/MSK modulation for non-coherent applications. The transmitter incorporates a complete waveguide interface with low-loss transition between the chip and the WR15 waveguide port. The integrated package is small and lightweight, with a simple to use multi-pin ST4 connector for power, reference clock, digital control port and baseband signals. Either of two reference clocks can be used for setting 540 MHz or 500 MHz channel spacing.

  • Millimeter Wave Control Devices

    Ducommun Inc

Ducommun millimeter wave products include various control devices for system integration. The CAE, CPS, CPD and CPM series control devices are discrete or MMIC based PIN diode attenuators and switches. The CAF, CAL, CAR and CPL series control devices are waveguide based mechanical tunable attenuators and phase shifters. These devices are offered to cover the frequency range from 18 GHz to 110 GHz.

  • Step Recovery Diodes

    Macom Technology Solutions Holdings Inc.

MACOM’s Silicon and GaAs varactor multiplier diodes provide broadband performance ranging from 10 MHz to 70 GHz. They are ideal for multiplier circuits and are available in die form, plastic and ceramic packaging. These diodes boast a flip chip series for higher frequency millimeter wave applications; plastic packaged series for microwave frequency surface mount applications; ceramic packaged series for high power waveguide and coaxial applications.

  • Full W-Band Power Amplifier

    SBP-7531142515-1010-E1 - ERAVANT

For communication and radar applications, SAGE Millimeter has released a new full W-Band power amplifier. Model SBP-7531142515-1010-E1 is a power amplifier with a typical small signal gain of 25 dB and a nominal output power of +15 dBm across the frequency range of 75 to 110 GHz. The DC power requirement for the amplifier is +15 VDC/190 mA. The mechanical configuration offers an in-line structure with WR-10 waveguides and UG-387/U-M flanges. Other port configurations, such as with 1 mm connectors or a right angle structure with WR-10 waveguides, are also available under different model numbers. Features include: Full Band, High Gain, High Output Power.

  • Integrated Couplers/ Harmonic Mixers

    Pacific Millimeter Products

These waveguide bandwidth integrated coupler/mixers are designed to allow phase locking or signal monitoring of compact millimeter wave systems.  RF inputs and outputs are on opposite sides of a thin wafer to obtain minimum insertion length. These devices use silicon Schottky barrier beam-lead diodes on a rugged stripline circuit.  Nominal coupling value is 10 dB.  For coupling values greater than 10 dB, non-directional coupler models are available (consult factory).

  • 60 GHz Systems and Modules

    Pasternack Enterprises, Inc.

The Pasternack / Vubiq 60 GHz development system provides rapid evaluation of Pasternack’s 60 GHz waveguide modules and customer prototyping for system development. This 60 GHz developer kit is created from a partnership between Pasternack and Vubiq (pronounced “View-bik”), an industry expert in designing 60 GHz RF systems. Our 60 GHz wireless development system makes it easy to design new products and applications in the emerging unlicensed millimeter wave ISM band.

  • Millimeter Wave Antennas

    Ducommun Inc

Ducommun millimeter wave products include ACH, ARH and ALC series circular, rectangular gain horn antennas and lens corrected horn antennas for system applications. Low side lobes, ridged configuration and low cost are the main features of these antennas. The standard gain value and half power beamwidth at mid-frequency point of each waveguide band are 23 dBi and 9 degrees, respectively. Other gain values are available as customer order. These antennas cover the frequency range of 18 to 110 GHz.

  • Rectangular Horn Antennas

    ERAVANT

SAGE Millimeter wave rectangular gain horns, also called pyramidal gain horns, are offered as both standard and custom models with a rectangular waveguide interface. The pyramidal gain horns only support linear polarization. With a calibrated gain chart, these horns can be used to measure the gain of other antennas by comparing the generated signal levels of both. For this reason, these horns are also referred to as standard gain horns. The listed models offer 23 dB nominal gain, 10/11 degrees typical half power beamwidth and 14 dB/30 dB typical side lobe levels at the center frequency of the band. These horns cover full waveguide bandwidths within the frequency range of 8.2 to 170 GHz. In addition to the models listed below, models with 10, 15, 20 and 25 dB gain and other frequency bands are also available.
